Alberto Contador destroys his rivals in the first Alpine stage of the Tour de France, taking over the yellow jersey with an impressive 15th stage victory to Verbier. Astana teammate Lance Armstrong finishes ninth to lie over one minute 37 seconds back in second position overall.
