RIDGEFIELD -- The first 20 seconds of Wednesday's FCIAC hockey battle between Ridgefield and Staples belonged to the Wreckers. The rest of the game belonged to Ridgefield -- in a big way. After Kyle Wehmhoff put Staples on the board before Ridgefield ever controlled the puck, the Tigers reeled off nine consecutive goals -- all in the first and second periods -- and left the Winter Garden Arena in Ridgefield with a 9-1 victory.
