NEW BRITAIN -- John Raneri turned in a couple of stellar performances Monday at the Class MM Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Veterans Stadium in New Britain.Raneri, a New Fairfield junior, raced to first-place finishes in the 1,600 and 3,200, setting a meet record in the 1,600 with a time of 4:19.
