Jenna Legros pitched a two-hitter and the Newtown bats provided some timely hits in a 6-2 victory over Bunnell in a battle of South-West Conference softball contenders on Monday. The game remained scoreless until Nora Lynn Shimko laced an RBI triple to put Newtown on the board first in the fourth.
